When Google+ came into the market, many said it would lead to the demise of Facebook. But considering the past few months, Facebook has reformed like never before. In the wake of competition from Google+, Facebook has introduced significant changes that have enhanced the user experience.
In the history of social networks, Facebook vs. Google+ is going to be the most interesting and fierce battle. It’s only because of Google+, Facebook has rolled out new products so quickly. Otherwise, it would have taken a lot fewer risks.
Rather than killing Facebook, Google+ has pushed the social networking giant to act quicker and more fiercely than ever before. Every attempts of Google+ have been successfully answered by Facebook and some of the projects are in the pipeline. With the advent of Google+, Facebook introduced significant enhancements to Facebook Chat: video calling powered by Skype, group chat, and an option to see the friends you message most. The company also revamped its privacy settings in best interest of its users.
Expect lot more action in next few months. Both Facebook and Google+ won’t give up easily. But one thing that everyone would agree upon is, Google+ is the best thing ever happened to Facebook.
